Early Work & Discovery

Freelance & Independent Projects

The junk drawer. Everything here predates real jobs and real budgets. Freelance gigs, travel edits, a spec pilot nobody asked for, and a lot of late nights in a bedroom studio figuring out how things work. Most of it is rough. Some of it holds up. All of it led somewhere.

Graduated from La Salle University in 2013 with a B.A. in Mass Media & Film, then immediately started shooting everything I could get my hands on. BASE jumping documentaries in West Virginia and Idaho, travel films across Europe, rooftop dance pieces in Philadelphia, timelapse projects built over months of early mornings. If it moved and I could point a camera at it, I was there.

The spec reality pilot for a competitive dance studio never got picked up, but it taught me more about production management than any class did. The branded content for local businesses paid the bills while the personal projects built the reel. Every late night in that bedroom studio — color grading, sound mixing, learning After Effects from YouTube tutorials — was laying the foundation for everything that came after.

La Salle ’13 B.A. in Mass Media & Film from La Salle University. The degree gave it a name — the work after graduation gave it meaning.
Bedroom Studio Every project edited in a single room with a laptop, an external drive, and whatever free plugins existed. The constraints forced the creativity.
No Budget Travel docs funded by day jobs, BASE jumping films shot on borrowed gear, branded content for trade instead of pay. Resourcefulness was the entire business model.

Spec Pilot

Starbound / Dance Moms Pilot

Spec reality pilot for a competitive dance studio. Nobody greenlit it, but the experience of wrangling talent and tight timelines was worth more than the project itself.

Branded

Freelance Branded Content

Early client work for local businesses. Small budgets, big expectations. Learned how to deliver on both.

Foundation

The Grind Years

Hundreds of hours of shooting, editing, color grading, and sound mixing alone. Not glamorous. Not efficient. But it's where the muscle memory came from.
